ITU World Paratriathlon Athlete Guide

A complete athlete guide for this specific event will be posted on this page two weeks prior to the event. For any specific questions, please contact Race Director Bill Burnett at bill@sarasotatri.com .

Entry

Paratriathletes interested in racing in the this event need to request entry via the ITU Online Entry system through their National Federation (NF). Each NF is responsible for entering athletes into the ITU Online Entry System for each event. You must also register and pay to race in this event via this website as well - go here .

Classification

Classification for athletes with a physical impairment will be offered at this event. Classification will be on Wednesday, March 6, Thursday, March 7, and Friday, March 8. ALL athletes will need to be reclassified at this event except for PTVI athletes. The classification schedule will be available approximately two weeks before the event. Athletes should contact their National Federation to ensure the appropriate paperwork is on file with ITU prior to classification and to request a classification appointment.

Classification for athletes with a visual impairment will not be offered at this event but provisional documents must be on file with ITU in order to compete. Please contact the ITU Sport Department with questions on classification.
